Description

Stag Lodge sits very comfortably in its countryside location, with wonderful views across the fields.  It is located in the owners' well tended grounds and offers spacious accommodation for 2 adults and 2 children.  The property has been beautifully decorated and furnished throughout with great attention to detail with a stunning central chandelier in the living area.  There are multiple French doors throughout the property, all opening onto the terrace, which is the perfect place for alfresco dining.  There is also a wood burning stove perfect for curling up in front of after a long country walk with all the family.  There is extensive walking surrounding Stag Lodge at any time of the year and there are great local country pubs serving local fayre. The area is the perfect base for heritage lovers with Penshurst Place, Chartwell and the castles of Chiddingstone and Hever nearby.  Don't forget to pack your walking boots and binoculars to make the most of this wonderful rural spot. Pets: Welcomes 3 dogs but dogs should be kept on leads when in the grounds of the property
Notes: The 2nd bedroom interconnects with the master bedroom through folding sliding doors.  The master bedroom sleeps 2 adults and the 2nd bedroom is accessed only via the master bedroom or opens up to provide one large master with a relaxing sofa.  The sofa bed sleeps two children up to 12 years old only.  Four adults are not permitted. 
There is a fenced pond in the owners' garden.  Children and pets should be supervised at all times when outside. 
The cottage is located approx. 100 yards from the owners residence.

Out and About:
Ideally located for exploring The Weald of Kent.  There are many charming villages and attractions close by; Chiddingstone Castle and the famous street at Chiddingstone and Penshurst Place are within 2 miles.  Hever Castle, the family home of Anne Boleyn and the National Trust properties of Knole, Ightham Mote and Churchill's home at Chartwell are all within 20 minutes drive.  There are country pubs in the surrounding villages and there is a good train link from Sevenoaks to London.  Supermarket shopping can be done in Sevenoaks or Tonbridge and the coast at Bexhill is 42 miles away.
